Kristiana kincaid

CoO AND COMPANY DIRECTOR
Programmes & Projects Lead

Background

Kristiana began what she terms “an accidental career” in telecom engineering when she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the late 1990s, and quickly realized how her innate organizational skills were critical for managing technical projects.

Leaving PwC, she worked with small telecom services outsourcing firms in Northern and Central California, designing and implementing custom, fit-for-purpose systems and ensuring that her customers could use the hardware and software systems effectively.

By 2006, Kristiana was ready for a new challenge, and she found it at Apple. She built new processes, created databases, overhauled programming, and effectively launched herself into a newly created position supporting the Apple Retail organization and stores.  In January 2009, Kristiana (with her husband and their seven-month-old) landed at LHR to begin a new adventure.  She spent most of the following decade in engineering and supporting new Apple Retail stores being built across Europe & the Middle East, and managing all documentation for the global network of stores.

As a project management veteran with PRINCE2 Project Management credentials, Kristiana is the lead organizer for Talent Rich programming, ensuring that projects and teams supply both key deliverables for the community, and the necessary evidence for our funding partners.  Kristiana is delighted to be designing and building projects and programmes for community engagement — work that reminds her of her decade-plus involvement in Disaster Services with the American Red Cross.

Kristiana is Mum to two KS geeks, and wife to a software nerd; she appreciates smoothly running projects, Zinfandel wines, English summers, and good documentation.
